BCG Matrix Analysis
The BCG Matrix, often referred to as a Stars and Dogs analysis, classifies each menu item into four distinct segments: Stars, Dogs, Cash Cows, and Question Marks. This categorization is instrumental in evaluating market share and growth potential. The analysis serves as a valuable tool in making informed decisions about which items should be retained on the menu and which ones may require reevaluation or replacement. Employing this analysis is particularly advantageous when launching new menus or implementing updates, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making in menu management.
